The Montrose Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Bastinac as Senior Coach for 2018.
Peter brings with him a wealth of experience starting with his playing days at Dandenong through to a 16 year coaching career which has provided multiple finals appearances and 2 Premierships. He then embarked on a 6 year Assistant Coaching role with Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup to broaden his experiences and was involved there with 3 Grand Finals. Peter then got the itch to Coach again partnering with Rowville over the last 4 seasons and presided over the Club’s first ever Division 1 finals campaign in 2016. His passion and enthusiasm for coaching will be obvious for all to see as our Club embarks on a crucial year with the 5 Division competition coming in 2019. We wish Peter all the best and welcome he and his wife Sandra to the Montrose family.
The Club will be holding a meet and greet for all players and Members this Tuesday the 19th September in the Ken Dowling Pavilion at 6.30PM.
