An update from our netball coordinator:
Between 40 players across 5 teams, we had 3 teams make the finals this season (DEMONS, FLAMES and HEAT). Although finals were cancelled, our stats show us that we were in it to win it, including one of our teams holding the highest percentage in their division (FLAMES). We had 4 players finish in the top 4 goal scorers of their divisions – Sarah Caldow (155) 2nd in Div 4, Emily Fahey (175) 2nd in Div 5, Karina Robinson (142) 4th in Div 3 and Nicole Windley (124) 4th in Div 7.
We are shattered we can’t finish the season and see what else could have been achieved but what we did achieve with the time we had is incredible! There’s no better club than Montrose and that’s thanks to our players, members, organisers, sponsors and community.
Our girls have done us proud and are now preparing to wear the red and blue in 2022 to come back and finish what we started!
