The club measures its success on its contribution to its local community. We are here to provide players with an enjoyable place to play local football, but also with the aim of providing quality players of the future from the junior club for the senior section of the club.

Premierships, particularly at lower age levels, are regarded as secondary to participation and improvement of individuals as players and as people. We also believe that it is important to provide football at the highest level possible and so do not believe in placing a team in a lower grade just with the aim of winning a premiership. In this context we do not seek to offer inducements to players from other teams to come to play with us (a trend that has unfortunately emerged over time with some junior clubs).

The role of non-competitive teams is critical in developing skills and a love for the game. Therefore we ask coaches of these teams to ensure that players are given roughly equal game time and played in a variety of positions on the field.
